I don't speak Russian, Spanish, Punjabi, or Croatian — is the course still useful to me?
Yes, but with an honest caveat: Russian, Spanish, Punjabi, and Croatian are fully bilingual editions — every lesson is translated. Ukrainian, Hindi, Arabic, and Urdu editions currently have translated navigation and instructions, with lesson content in English. We're expanding full translation to more languages over time, and anyone with an active enrollment gets those updates at no extra cost.
Do I need internet access on the road to use this?
Yes. Lessons are accessed online and require a connection to load and to play the audio for each lesson — there is currently no offline or downloadable version of the course or its audio.
Does completing this course guarantee I'll pass a roadside English inspection or meet FMCSA requirements?
No. Road English is a training tool to help you build practical English skills for common on-the-road situations. It is not a certification and doesn't guarantee any specific outcome with FMCSA or any other agency. Requirements and enforcement vary — always confirm what's required with your carrier or the relevant agency. See our Disclaimer for more.

Is this a subscription?
No. It's a one-time payment, not a recurring charge, and the price is very affordable compared to competitors. A 1-year enrollment covers 12 months of access, including all course updates in that time. A 1-month enrollment is also available.
How is payment processed — is it safe?
Payment is handled by Helcim, a licensed payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
